  AES Price2008 : Quatuor à cordes n°2 op10 of Zoltan Kodaly

I've won the 2nd Price at the 124th AES Student Recording Competition in Amsterdam for classical stereo recording, on the 20th may 2008. I've presented the String Quartet n°2 op10 of Zoltan Kodaly played by the Accord Quartet (organised by the cultural service of the hungarian Ambassy in Brussels) the recording was made at Palais des Beaux Arts in Brussels the 11/11/2007. The recording was made as a kind of classical recording test for my study at the IAD university. This is a Live recording.

I'm interested in music since I was very young. As I'm also curious in science, I've been to the AES to update my knowledge and to see brand new devices.

I was selected in the 3 finalsists and I've shown pictures of the microphone setup and explain my setup for the jury just after the listenning of the piece. That year I've test a lot of setup, and I want to try surround recording. The recording was to show for some classical music stereo recording test at the univeristy. So I need a setup really good in stereo and I wantto try 5.1. So I choose OCT surround

The 5.1 has a lot of advantages. But most of the listeners don't have a 5.1 system...
